Iconic MARVEL Fighting Scenes Captured by Border Fine Arts Character
Launched in January 2016, to much acclaim, Border Fine Arts’ Marvel collection introduces three new figurines to the range in June 2016 — each piece features two superheroes battling it out for supremacy.
Featuring legendary characters who have starred in Marvel comic books over the past eight decades, the figurines are inspired by original artwork and are painted by hand. Each pose successfully captures the agility of the superheroes and the movement and power of the scene, right down to the crumbling stone base on Thor vs. Loki, or the warped metal base of Spider-Man vs. Hulk.
The new studies are: the patriotic super-soldier, Captain America — who celebrates his 75th anniversary in 2016 — confronting Iron Man in an iconic action pose; Spider-Man, the web-slinging student versus Hulk, ‘living engine of destruction’; and the last one features two Asgardian brothers going head to head: Thor, God of thunder and lightning and his brother Loki, God of mischief, madness and evil.
