National Account Administrator

Job Title: National Account Administrator

Reports to: National Account Team Leader
Location: Home-based – within 2-hour commute of Carlisle
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (36 hours per week Monday to Friday)

 

This is a full-time position, mostly home-based, with occasional days on site throughout the year. 36 hours per week Mon—Thurs 8.30am—5pm and Fri 8.30am—3.30pm.
The role is home-based within a 2 hour commute of our offices in Carlisle.
 
Initial Induction training will take place on site.

The Role

To provide a comprehensive customer service to the National Account customers.
• Ensuring that the work is accurate and dealt with efficiently, in order that goods are despatched within the specified time period.
• Assist the National Account Team Leader and National Account Managers.


Key Responsibilities

• To update and maintain customer records.
• Respond to telephone calls and e-mails.
• Update customer price files as and when required.
• Liaise with accounts regarding allocation of payments for self-billing accounts.
• Complete specification forms for signing.
• Liaise with and assist National Account Managers, as and when necessary.
• Monitor National Account reserves and ensure they are converted into firm orders for the allocated month.
• Input, check and amend orders to appropriate customer platform.
• Ensure customer order deadlines are met.
• Advise customers, via appropriate electronic method of stock availability.#
• Making sure all credits are processed asap.
• Provide cover in other areas of the Department if necessary.
• To train new recruits.
