Charity Work
We have been supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital since 2006, with a collaboration with Willow Tree and Susan Lordi, raising a grand total of £176,435 to date. For each
Heart of Gold figure sold in the UK and Europe, Enesco and Susan Lordi donate a total of 65p. This money goes towards four key areas of the hospital; child and family support; equipment; research, and rebuilding and refurbishment. Several of our Marketing team have been lucky enough to visit the hospital and have been completely overwhelmed by the work undertaken. The hospital provides such an amazing service, and we are very motivated and proud to continually support them. In 2017 we were recognised for our ongoing support and were given an award by the hospital for our fundraising over the past decade.
To further support this charity in 2017; we launched bespoke
Peter Rabbit soft toys. All the money we raise goes towards supporting GOSH patients and their families, buying the latest medical equipment, helping rebuild and refurbish the hospital, and supporting world-class medical research. £1.66 for every Large Peter Rabbit sold and £1.00 for every Small Peter Rabbit will be donated by Enesco and Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd collectively to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (Registered charity no. 1160024). The Great Ormond Street Peter Rabbit Soft Toys have been created using original artwork inspired by the drawings of patients who took part in the hospital’s arts programme; Go Create, designers have created a very special and completely bespoke fabric especially for the products — featuring carrots and flowers — to decorate Peter Rabbit’s ears and paws. To date, we have raised a total of £56,685 and counting…
At Enesco, we believe in giving back to the communities we are a part of. Each year, our team comes together to raise funds for various local charities through a combination of raffles and volunteer efforts. Our staff takes pride in actively participating in these initiatives and collectively voting on which charity will benefit from our annual fundraising efforts.
In 2024, we are thrilled to announce that our team successfully raised £690, which will be donated to Hospice at Home (Carlisle). This remarkable organization provides essential care and support for patients with life-limiting conditions, enabling them to receive compassionate end-of-life care in the comfort of their own homes.
Thank you to everyone who contributed and made this donation possible!
