Enesco’s Classic Pooh nursery and giftware collections capture the humour and innocence of the iconic bear, Winnie the Pooh, and of his friends from the 100 Acre Wood, and are cherished by young and old alike. For 2014, Enesco has updated the range introducing new designs for nurseryware as well as adding characters to the popular knitted mini figurine collection.
The new Pooh and Piglet design for the money ball and the nurseryware set of bowl, mug and plate, retains all the enchantment originally created by E H Shepard, who illustrated the books by AA Milne, but is produced with a fresh colour palette and in a bolder style to ensure the nurseryware is even more endearing to 21st century youngsters.
Three characterful studies – Pooh and Eeyore, Piglet with Balloon, and Pooh and Piglet – are added to the knitted mini figurine collection, whilst Eeyore with a Wobble Head makes an irresistible Money Bank. Recreating the timeless look of knitted soft toys, this collection is a fitting tribute to the heritage of the Winnie the Pooh brand and full of nostalgia for days of old.
Appealing new packaging featuring the lovable Pooh and some of his friends in legendary poses, has also been designed and will be used for nurseryware launched from January 2014 onwards.
