The Heartwarming Tale of Cherished Teddies
Cherished Teddies were introduced in the UK and distributed by BFA (Border Fine Arts) before becoming part of the Enesco family in 1992. This charming collection began with the vision of artist Priscilla Hillman, whose delightful designs quickly captured the hearts of collectors and enthusiasts around the globe. Each adorable teddy bear figurine meticulously designed with unique charm and personality, reflected the attention to detail and sentimental value that made them beloved additions to many homes.
The enduring appeal of Cherished Teddies lies in their endearing themes and heartfelt messages, which resonate with fans of all ages. Over the years, these figurines have become cherished keepsakes, symbolising love, friendship, and treasured memories. They have solidified Enesco's reputation for creating timeless and beloved collectibles.
Enesco’s Cherished Sisterly Love
Lauren from our Marketing team recently unearthed a delightful piece of nostalgia — a Cherished Teddies figurine complete with its original paperwork. This special figurine was given to her in 1993 to commemorate the joyous arrival of her baby sister, symbolising the enduring bond of sisterly love. To share this heartwarming memory, Lauren has included photos of the figurine and a childhood photo with her sister.
