Enesco celebrates 120th anniversary of Peter Rabbit™
To celebrate the 120th anniversary of the launch of Beatrix Potter’s literary classic, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, by Frederick Warne & Co., Enesco is delighted to announce four new miniature figurines in its ‘Beatrix Potter by Jim Shore’ collection.
Loved by children and grown-ups alike across the generations, the pieces in this new collection paw-fectly capture the characteristics of everyone’s favourite bob-tailed bunny, Peter Rabbit, along with his furry friends.
With each piece measuring just 8.0cm high, figurines include Peter Rabbit in his iconic blue hat, his sister Flopsy wearing her sweet red cape, their cousin (and often mischievous Peter’s partner in crime) Benjamin Bunny featuring his big green tam-o-shanter, as well as Jemima Puddle-duck complete with blue bonnet and pink floral shawl.
Inspired by the original illustrations from The World of Peter Rabbit™, the miniature figurines are brought to life using Shore’s synonymous style of intricate quilting patters and motifs derived from American Folk Art, bringing these characters from the pages of stories in a way many fans of the brand will have never seen before.
With each piece cast in stone, lovingly hand painted by skilled artisans and presented in a branded gift box to create a high quality and highly collectable product, these pieces are set to be a must-have for young and old alike and the perfect gift to celebrate the 120th birthday of Peter Rabbit in 2022.
