She may have sang that flippin’ your fins you don’t get too far, but Ariel has certainly swam into the hearts and minds of the nation, as one of Disney’s all-time favourite princesses. So much so, this year sees The Little Mermaid celebrate her 30^th anniversary, since Disney’s animated classic first splashed onto the big screen in 1989.
