Enesco launches new figurines into its pop-art Disney Britto collection inspired by best-loved animated films

Contemporary gift retailer, Enesco, has unveiled new figurines inspired by Disney’s best-loved animated feature length films, into its ever-popular Disney Britto collection.

This unique collection pairs one of the world’s best-loved family brand with highly sought-after contemporary artist - Romero Britto. An international pop art sensation, he has interpreted some of the world’s favourite Disney characters in figurines through his signature style.

Tale as old as time and new into the collection is the Beast Figurine from Disney’s 1992 box office hit, Beauty and the Beast. Standing tall at 23.5cm, this pop-art inspired figurine captures Prince Adam in his cursed form as fans of the film have never seen him before. Wearing his iconic ballroom scene outfit, the figurine is big and bold, featuring funky spots and stripes detailing across the Beast’s body.

Of course, what is a Beast without his true love to help break the enchantress’ spell? To complement the Beast Figurine, Brazilian-born artist Britto has also created a Belle Figurine. Like Beast, she is wearing a dress inspired by the ballroom scene but has been given a pop-art twist thanks to Britto’s sense of fun patterns and bold colour-blocking style. What was once an all-over golden-yellow ballgown now features pops of oranges, whites and blues with spots, stripes and floral detailing too.

Both the Beast Figurine and Belle Figurine retail with a SRP of £85.00 each. Joining the iconic duo in this new collection fans of the Disney franchise will also find Rapunzel, Jasmine and Baby and Mother Figurine.
