A touch of gold Enesco announces new Disney Midas Collection by Britto

Contemporary gift retailer, Enesco, has unveiled brand-new presentations of figurines inspired by Disney’s best-loved characters, into its ever-popular Britto collection.

This unique collection pairs one of the world’s best-loved family brand with highly sought-after contemporary artist - Romero Britto. An international pop art sensation, he has interpreted some of the world’s favourite Disney characters in figurines through his signature style.

Now, for the first time, Britto is bringing splashes of gold to his bold pop-art designs, inspired by the ‘Midas Touch’ and so the namesake for this new sub-collection.

Pieces in Disney’s Midas Collection by Britto include figurines of Mickey Mouse, Sorcerer Apprentice Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Stitch, as well as fun and funky mugs featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and another showcasing everyone’s favourite little blue alien – Stitch.

Standing at 37.0cm tall and retailing with a SRP of £190.00, the figurine sees Mickey Mouse in a seated position, elbows resting on his knees, while cupping his face in his hands. Sitting cross-legged, there is a broad smile across his face, looking as though his is ready to welcome his pals and have some fun. Wearing his iconic pants and gloves, the Mickey Mouse Midas Statement Figurine is big and bold, featuring funky spots, stripes and love heart detailing, as well as the colourway for this sub-collection of reds, white, blacks and – of course - gold.
