Location: Home-based – within 2-hour commute of Carlisle
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (36 hour per week Monday to Friday)

Role

The National Account Executive (NAE) will support the National Account Manager (NAM) on all Enesco sales activities for both existing and new customers within specified accounts/trade channels as defined by the Company and for developing and maintaining relationships with those customers. The Company decides which accounts are designated head office and house. NAE’s also support the NAM with identifying new markets and business opportunities and for arranging meetings with potential customers to win new business. NAE’s are expected to make a significant contribution to maintaining and exceeding the excellent customer service for which Enesco is renowned and to provide effective contact between the Company and its existing and potential customers. Additionally, NAE’s are required to contribute ideas for product development to meet the needs of their customer base.


Key Responsibilities

Sales

• To work with our existing NAM to achieve and exceed the annual sales plan and agreed objectives for specified accounts/channels
• Develop new business with specified target accounts
• Actively identify potential new accounts/channels
• Devise and implement, with support from the NAM, bespoke business plans and objectives for specified accounts/channels
• Develop and maintain strong trading relationships with specified customers to achieve agreed turnover and objectives.
• Monitor customers’ business performance versus plan via weekly reports
• Prepare sales forecasts and progress reports as requested by sales management
• Participate in trade shows as required
• Manage customer enquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
• Develop effective operational knowledge of: customer’s organizations, competition, points of leverage and the market
• Prepare sales forecasts and progress reports as requested by sales management
• Synchronize Enesco’s product development process and time line with the needs of the customer
• Develop effective relationships within the Company to ensure prompt and accurate execution of customers’ requirements

Administration

• Actively manage product reserves on a weekly basis to ensure effective utilization of stock
• Manage all external and internal correspondence promptly and effectively
• Review personal sales performance versus plan via weekly sales report
• Liaise with Customer Services to check the progress of customers existing orders
• Monitor customers’ credit status
• Comply with ad hoc information requests/questionnaires from Head Office
• Ensure professional presentation of sales information to customers as required
• Provide timely notice of price increases to customers
• Update sales presenter on an ongoing basis
• Feed back customer requests/trends to Senior Sales Director
• Follow all Company procedures as outlined in the Company Manual

Sales Promotion

• Represent the Company at all events/demonstrations taking place within your accounts
• Provide retailers with sound, commercial motivation to give our brands prime sites in-store
• Manage Club and Society promotions/features to maximum effect within specified accounts
• Provide merchandising/support to customers
• Ensure that all point of sale and sales aids are used to maximum effect where appropriate
• Achieve increased distribution of Enesco brands via seasonal displays
• Strive to create excitement and theatre in-store
• Brief customers about all promotional activity including new and future product development.

General

• Any other duties commensurate with the role
